BY CLICKING THIS BOX I CONFIRM THAT I UNDERSTAND THAT IF I DO NOT SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE THE EXAMINATION AFTER MY FIRST ATTEMPT, I WILL BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER IN THE FULL MORTGAGE BROKERAGE IN BRITISH COLUMBIA COURSE AND WAIT AT LEAST 90 DAYS FROM THE DATE THAT I WROTE BEFORE ATTEMPTING THE EXAM AGAIN. NO DISCOUNT OF TUITION FEES WILL BE AVAILABLE.

The Challenge Package includes all of the appropriate course materials in electronic format only (e.g., eBook and PDF manual).
Hardcover manuals and calculators are sold separately.

English Language Proficiency Requirement:

In some cases, your permission letter from the BCFSA may include a requirement to satisfy the English Language Proficiency Requirement ("ELPR"). The ELPR must be satisfied prior to exam registration and we recommend doing so as early as possible. From the date of receipt in our office, please allow 3-5 business days to process ELPR documentation. Students are advised to ensure appropriate planning to avoid delays.

Hardcover Printed Manual:

At UBC Sauder School of Business and the Real Estate Division, we are committed to taking meaningful steps to achieve carbon neutrality and reduce emissions. By using the eBook or PDF version of the course manual that are included with your registration, you will help us with our initiative and save approximately 700 printed pages. Together, our shift to digital resources will reduce over 530 metric tonnes of CO₂e annually and help fund $20,000 scholarship for a student in the UBC Sauder MBA Climate Career Track to empower the next generation of climate-conscious leaders.

However, we understand that everyone learns differently. If you are undecided, you can purchase a hardcover printed manual from the RED Bookstore at a later date. Or, you can add a hardcover printed manual to your Course registration for an additional $200.00 by checking the box below. No refunds are available after purchase.

Note: Candidates should be aware that it is their responsibility to learn the latest material. If you purchased a hardcover Course Manual along with your Challenge Package, the hardcover manual should arrive in approximately ten business days of registration.

Please note: The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has imposed a ban on overtime hours for its employees, as part of a legal strike action. There is no work stoppage and Canada Post is continuing operations at this time, but it is unclear how the strike action may evolve as negotiations continue. As a result, students should anticipate delays in receiving mail from our office. Students are encouraged to use the eBook or PDF version of the course materials included with course registration in the interim.

Calculator or Calculator App:

Students writing the exam in the Lower Mainland, or at any of these select centres should download the 10bii calculator app from In a Day Development to use during their studies. Such students DO NOT need to purchase a calculator and may request use of a tablet with the 10bii app for their examination.

Students writing the exam at any other location will need a physical calculator. We recommend the Hewlett Packard 10Bii+ calculator. There are many new and used calculators for sale and we encourage you to explore all options. If necessary, you can purchase the calculator from the RED Bookstore for $112 ($100 plus $12 tax). No refunds are available after purchase.
